Cog with a great pull here:

The Phils have lost four in a row and are on the verge of getting swept by the Cubs. They’re still a half game ahead of Milwaukee for the final Wild Card spot because the Brewers haven’t been playing much better. They ripped off four wins in a row, then lost two before splitting with St. Louis.

But back to this guy, Assad –

He’s got seven career MLB appearances and is sporting a 4.28 ERA. In his last start, which was Friday, he went four innings and gave up four runs, throwing 91 pitches. He gave up four runs in two innings in the previous start, so prime Greg Maddux this guy is not. The Phils gotta light up Assad early and often. Get this doofus out of there, or else we’re heading for another loss.
