Sirianni says he got it from his friend.
“If you picked down and B, then it was an all out blitz and nobody blocked anybody.”
That was the only way to stop that play, because unless the other guy had Lawrence Taylor, you’d just take Randall Cunningham (otherwise know as “QB Eagles”) around the edge for big yards. What a time that was. You could cheat by looking at your friend’s controller and steal his play, then blitz his ass.
I actually dig this one. No pandering here. An old school classic instead. Tecmo bowl was great. If I had to do a Mount Rushmore of Tecmo players I’d probably have LT, Bo Jackson, Jerry Rice, and Barry Sanders. Shout out Christian Okoye as well, he was nasty in that game.
