John Clark tweeted about a Phillies fan named Geoff who took a flight from DC to San Diego and bought a ticket to Game 2 because it was cheaper than going to CBP. The fan also brought a sweatshirt with a picture of his dad on it who recently passed from cancer. Bryson Stott saw it and is leaving tix for Geoff this weekend:

According to Geoff, Bryson left him tix for Game 4 and Game 5:

This is awesome.

Cancer is something Bryson’s been directly effected by. He chose the #5 to keep the memory of his best friend alive who passed away from the disease a couple years back. He also had these cleats designed on Childhood Cancer Awareness Night this season:

Doesn’t Bryson Stott seem like an A+ dude? Earlier this year he met up with the praying kid during the Angels game:

Now he’s doing this. Bryson’s already becoming a fan favorite. Imagine if he strings together a couple more big playoff moments like that nine pitch double he laced last week.
