Hot Streak Continues with Yet Another Eagle Winning Player of the Week

If you’re keeping track, the Eagles have had a guy win player of the week after every single game this year. It was Zech McPhearson in Week 1 for his onside kick recovery. Darius Slay got DPOW in Week 2 for terrorizing “Kurt” Cousins and Justin Jefferson. Brandon Graham and Haason Reddick got the same award in weeks three and four for abusing Carson Wentz and Trevor Lawrence, respectively, and then Cameron Dicker wound up with the game-winning field goal in the road win over the Cardinals.
According to John Gonoude with Eagles PR,
The #Eagles are just the second #NFL team to win at least one Player of the Week award in each of the first 5 weeks of a season, joining the 1991 Bills. Philadelphia is also the first team since the 2005 Bears (Weeks 8-12) to win Player of the Week honors in 5 consecutive weeks.
They’re gonna have another POTW once they dispatch the Cowboys at home on prime time this coming Sunday. If you’re scared of the Cowboys, get a dog. This team isn’t losing to Cooper Rush.
