I Want Jalen Hurts to Wear Astros Gear This Week
As a guy who knows a thing or two about spreading misinformation, it’s my job to inform you when misinformation is being spread. This Jalen Hurts pic is from a 2020 press conference:

This tweet has already fooled some people and it will fool plenty more:
Credit to Jalen Hurts for wearing the Astros hat, though. Much better than when athletes pretend to be diehard fans of the other teams in town.

If you’re from Philly you will probably remember Angelo Cataldi and Howard Eskin doing their fake outrage schtick about it:
I’m going to give Jalen Hurts a pass this time when he spoke yesterday with his Astros tire. He doesn’t know Phila and fans yet. This is a no no but cause his concern was getting ready for his first start as #Eagles QB. Houston is home. But never again. @SportsRadioWIP pic.twitter.com/rf7NAOtw37

How do you feel about Jalen Hurts wearing Houston Astros attire to his first news conference as the Eagles starting QB?

Here’s the thing, I hope Jalen Hurts does show up in Astros gear this week. He grew up in Houston. It’s cooler that he reps where he came from instead of feeding us some pretend narrative that he cares about the Phillies. Do we really think Nick Sirianni, who grew up six hours from Philly, is a diehard Phillies, Villanova, Flyers, and Sixers fan? No. If we were playing the Yankees in the World Series and Joe Flacco came to the podium in Phillies gear we’d build him a statue outside Xfinity Live!
Now if Jalen does wear Astros gear, does the fact that he’s 6-0 right now help? Oh yea. Because I’d be slandering him with you if we were 2-4. Winning cures everything in this city. But if you’re going to get all bent out of shape for something this stupid I don’t want you on his jock when he hangs 35 on the Texans next Thursday.
