Gotta give props to the blue collar workers, however. Shout out IBEW. Shout out Sheet Metal workers local 19. Shout out electrician Tom Cudeyro, who told Manny Machado to do the right thing and sign. Shout out to the brick layers and pipe fitters. Shout out AFSCME DC Local 2929. Let’s give it up for all of the carpenters and mail handlers and roofers as well. They’re playing just as well as the Phillies and the Eagles. They should be included in the discussion. We’re a five for five city – Phillies, Eagles, Sixers, Flyers, and union laborers.
