Hell yes. We’re starting to get raw John Tortorella in these Flyers press conferences.

There’s a full blowup looming on the horizon, but Torts came out after the 5-1 Dallas loss and said that he doesn’t give a shit what we think about the team:

It’s a great quote, actually. He backs his team and his players while saying the quiet part out loud – that the talent on the ice just isn’t good enough. Then he more or less shits on the media and everybody outside the organization, by extension.


The Flyers have largely overachieved this season, and shown us a lot in the process, which is a credit to Torts and the players. They came out with the right attitude and have been skating hard, but now it’s time to get down to business here and tank hard for Connor Bedard.

As a quick aside, what a year for Crossing Broad. We segue right from a World Series run into the 8-0 Eagles and now Torts is out here dropping viral bombs left and right. You can’t write a better script. This is too easy. These blogs write themselves.
