Linval Joseph fitting right in:

A crass way to describe rising to the occasion, but nevertheless apt.

Joseph started the game at nose tackle and played well. It seemed like he was in there for a lot of snaps. Combine his performance with Ndamukong Suh and you had seven tackles and a sack.

On the afternoon, the Eagles allowed just 99 rushing yards for a 3.8 average, and gave up just that one explosive play on the ground during the opening drive. That was the 28-yard Jonathan Taylor run. From that point on, they really locked it down defensively, got stops, forced field goals, and gave the offense a chance to go out and win the game.

Nice job by Howie going out and getting these two. Now we just need the snap counts to come out so we can see how much they played compared to Fletcher Cox, Javon Hargrave, and Milton Williams.
