We can go back and do hindsight until we turn blue in the face, but a sampling of social media seemed to suggest that a majority of fans disagreed with the decision to pull Wheeler. I wouldn’t say it was an overwhelming majority, maybe like 60/40 based on the way my feeds are set up, but I saw a lot more dissent than agreement. You?

I get it. It’s miserable, but you’re going to need to fire on more than one cylinder to beat a team that is better constructed. The Phillies aren’t.

Rob Thomson got the Phillies so far. He pushed all the right buttons. That wasn’t gonna last forever and it seemed to fade finally in these last two games.
