How responsible is Philadelphia for this? I’d conservatively say 110% responsible, which means that the real topic here is Scott repaying the city for his Spotify growth. After he and Tiesto are done paying royalties to Robyn, he can send a gift basket or a fruitcake to every Phillies fan in existence, or, if that’s not possible, perhaps a subscription to the jelly of the month club.

I’m curious how many people generally like the Dancing on my Own remix vs. how many people just went along with it to support the team, you know what I mean? It was one of those things that the city latched on to, like it brought everyone together, but did those folks really truly love the song? I hear from a lot of people who prefer the original version. I wonder if Robyn is annoyed by that, that her song was remixed and then the remixed version was part of a viral playoff run from a North American sports team.
