Gardner Minshew Throwing Four Touchdowns in Dallas After Eulogizing Mike Leach
The Birds/Cowboys line dropped to -4.5 in favor of Dallas, maybe because the books saw Gardner Minshew’s Mike Leach eulogy and adjusted accordingly:

“You never really felt like an underdog with him. He had confidence.. it was part confidence and part just not really giving a fuck what people thought, you know? It was one of the two, but it was awesome. It was contagious.”
Well said!
One thing I feel confident in saying is that the Cowboys are in trouble on Christmas Eve. If Jalen Hurts is healthy enough and makes a surprise start, the Birds get a confidence boost. If Minshew plays, he’s channeling the spirit of Mike Leach into 289 passing yards and four touchdowns. You’re going to see Air Raid reincarnate while the non-corporeal form of Leach watches on smiling, kind of like Obi-Wan and Yoda as blue ghosts in Return of the Jedi. You know Minshew has already been champing at the bit to play, now the Cowboys are on deck and his college coach just passed. He’s not fucking around in Dallas.
If I’m wrong, however, then we’ll just use the Cowboy fan excuse. “We didn’t have our starting QB!“
