Two years and $15 million for Matt Strahm. Brandon Marsh just got some competition for most luscious locks on the team:

Strahm was on the Red Sox last season where he had a 3.83 ERA over 44.2 innings in his first year as a reliever. This move should officially put the Phils over the $233 million luxury tax threshold. After, John Middleton didn’t go over the tax ever before, he’s now done it two years straight. The Phillies just filled every major hole they had two days into the winter meetings. Essentially they signed Trea Turner to replace Jean Segura, Taijuan Walker to replace Kyle Gibson, and Matt Strahm to replace Brad Hand. On paper this team got better and that’s all you can ask for. Dave Dombrowski is bringing Phillies fans Christmas gifts early.

Also, Strahm seems like a pretty cool dude. He says he has a “slight obsession with cards” in his Twitter profile. He has a YouTube show where he breaks cards in different stadiums. He also collects the rookie card of every guy who takes him deep:

Sometimes he’ll even roast cheaters during his card breaks:
