This post is dedicated to Pat (@pmcross35), who thinks that Mike Missanelli is my hero.

Mike tweeted this earlier:

Mike is going to regret this. Once Eagles Shirley hits the airwaves, he’s gonna be thinking “what the hell did I sign up for?” And then when Marisa from Tokyo starts singing out of key in broken Japanese, Mike is going to unlatch the studio window and dive head-first into the Schuylkill River, while Howard Eskin shuffles down the hallway mumbling something about Ben Simmons.

Should be good conversation up until that point, however. Angelo went on Mike’s pod a few weeks ago and they shared some QUALITY stories from back in the day. My takeaway from listening was that the late Tom Bigby seemed like a pain in the ass to work for, but we’re not supposed to speak ill of the dead, so RIP to him.

Mike hasn’t been on WIP since 2006, when he was fired for allegedly punching a producer, so Joe Weachter better show up wearing a helmet tomorrow:

But anyway, during his time there, he worked with The Cuz, The King, and Steve Fredericks as well. Check out this old school lineup:
