Jacob Sirianni was on You Got Mossed! Sunday morning, making a clutch interception in his Pop Warner Game:

Nick Sirianni is raising a lockdown corner! Can this kid play in the slot?

Seriously though, are kids throwing like this in Pop Warner now? I think Nick’s kid is around eight years old. I don’t remember the Lansdale Cannoneers chucking the pigskin at eight years old.* It was dive right, counter left, pitch right and pray the RB gets around the d-end and shuffle up the sidelines for six. Let the Big Uglies move their weight around and dominate the trenches. That was Pop Warner football in 2001. If you had an elite o-line and running back you could pencil in a trip to Florida. Now kid’s are throwing bombs into triple coverage? That’s awesome!

*Kinkead: I think we had two plays in Boyertown midget-mite football. Can you even say midget-mite these days?
