This isn’t some space exploration blog, but I’m pretty sure we don’t go back to the moon cause it’s expensive and there’s nothing to do there. It’s just a rock. We’re trying to go to Mars and learn about cool shit. Plus, the NASA budget isn’t that large and different Presidential administrations keep messing around with it anyway.

Think of it this way:

The Moon is basically like Wildwood, and Mars is Zanzibar. We’ve all been to Wildwood, so there’s nothing left to do or see there. But Zanzibar is the real deal. That’s where we wanna go.
