Fletcher Cox Re-Signs With the Eagles

This has been a day full of surprises. Fletcher Cox takes the hometown discount to come back to the Birds:

This move feels like a low risk/medium reward. Everyone knows Fletch’s best days are behind him. But he’s still durable and he got to the QB at a top-10 rate last year:

If he’s going to help continue to coach up Jordan Davis and the presumed early round talent coming in through the draft while continuing to provide depth which was the name of the defense’s game last year then so be it. He must believe in this defense and Sean Desai if he turned down more money from the Jets according to Mike Garafalo:

I’m in literal shock! Mostly because our boys at Let’s Go to the Phones, the Worldwide Leader in all things Fletcher Cox, were wrong!
