They’ve replaced the 50 foot ads that used to hang off the old scoreboard with digital ones while giving off the impression of the sky and light pole behind it. It’s some straight up David Copperfield shit:

I gotta know how good this scoreboard is at replicating the weather. If it’s gray and cloudy, can the scoreboard reproduce that look? What if there is a beautiful sunset during Golden Hour? Is this scoreboard a five-tool player like Trea Turner, or is it gonna bat .111 like Christian Pache?

Good call on whomever decided expanding the scoreboard was the move this year. They’re going to need every square inch they have to cram Aaron Nola’s ERA in there.
