Wait… Jonesy? Jonesy is a finalist for the President of Hockey Ops job? With Danny Briere as GM? Is that the pairing that’s going to lead the Flyers into a new era? What the actual fuck is going on here? I thought we were supposed to be moving away from the former players and dismantling the good old boys network. I can’t believe this is real.
My money is on Eddie Olcyzk being the guy. Announcement at the end of the week. Anthony will probably have something on this. All I can do is sit here in disbelief. Next thing you know, we’re gonna hear that Coatesy is in the mix for assistant GM. Scott Hartnell in line to become Torts’ #2. Get Wayne Simmonds and Chris Pronger* on the phone and see if they’re available as well.
*whoops, look like they did interview Pronger lolz
