Shaun Bradley had to be carted off the field Saturday night in the preseason opener, and multiple reports indicate he tore his Achilles.

He posted this on Instagram, confirming that he’s done for the year:

Not great. Bradley was a key special teams contributor and played the 5th-most snaps on that unit in 2022 (314 total, amounting to almost 70%). It was similar in 2021, when he played 280 special teams snaps and was on the field more than every other player not named Zech McPhearson or Andre Chachere.

Bradley is 26 and an unrestricted free agent after this season. He was on the final year of his rookie deal after coming out of Temple as a 2020 6th round draft pick. The silver lining here is that Patrick Johnson’s injury is considered to not be serious, so the Eagles avoided losing two of their top-five special teams players in the same month.
