Eagles Players are Fined $800 A POUND for Missing Weight
The Eagles had a competitive eater come to NovaCare to eat everything Lane Johnson eats in one day – in 10 minutes:

That was majestic. That guy left less meat on the bone than Aaron Rodgers has on his leg this morning.
One thing I noticed in the video is Johnson mentioned the Eagles get fined $800 A POUND if they’re not in their mandated weight threshold. Now does that matter when you’re a million dollar athlete? No. But you miss weight by two pounds and you’re losing out on two roundtrip tickets to Europe. A studio apartment’s worth of rent in Philly for the month. The new iPhone 15. 20 annual subscriptions to PHLY Sports! For being two pounds off weight. I wonder what they do with the fine money? They probably donate it to charity. But if they did something like pay some of the Christmas party with it, Jordan Davis probably gave enough to pay for the 12-foot tall Eagles ice sculpture.
Here’s what Lane Johnson eats in a day. It’s what most normal humans eat in a week:
- 2 12oz Ribeye Steaks
- 5 Scrambled Eggs
- 1 Avocado
- 3 Sausage Links
- 3 Greek Yogurts
- 1 Sweet Potato
- 1 Baked Potato
- 2 Protein Shakes
- 2 Orange Juices
- 1 Monster Mash Bowl (Rice, Ground Beef, seasoning)
Not gonna lie that Monster Mash sounds awesome.
