You need a quarterback who can squat 600 pounds and a center who is a total psycho. That’s how the tush push works. You need dawgs up front.
FYI the tush push/rugby scrum remains completely legal in 2023. Perhaps you recall various complaints about the play after the 2022 campaign, but the NFL did not capitulate to the whiners. Everything remains exactly the same. You can push from behind and move the pile and all of that.
Keep an eye on the Colts because they’re gonna do a lot of what the Eagles did with Jalen Hurts. Anthony Richardson’s first NFL TD came from a QB draw into the B gap with a couple of pulling blockers:
