The Arryn Siposs Era in Philadelphia May be Coming to an End (updated)
Because they signed a punter to the practice squad:
#Eagles are signing former #Steelers and #Jets P Braden Mann to their practice squad, a source said. He worked out for the #Eagles recently.

Mann was a 6th round draft pick out of Texas A&M and spent a few seasons with the Jets. He was waived in April of this year, claimed by the Steelers, waived in August, and now lands with the Eagles.
He was really good in college, a unanimous All-American in 2018 and 2x First team All-SEC player for the Aggies. He won the SEC Special Teams Player of the Year Award in 2018 and also won the Ray Guy Award, given to the nation’s best punter. According to a friend who is a Jets fan, this dude is better at pinning teams deep than booting the ball in the open field. Friend also notes that Mann made a tackle a few years ago that allowed the 0-13 Jets to win their first game, which ultimately knocked them out of the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes:
Braden Mann’s tackle on this play is what made Trevor Lawrence a Jag instead of a Jet 😅 pic.twitter.com/zO1cx1yRa0

RE: the Birds, Arryn Siposs is bang average and if you can upgrade the position, you do it. The Eagles have elevated both Siposs and Britain Covey off the practice squad in weeks 1 and 2 because they decided not to carry either on the 53-man roster. They were pretty obviously looking for improvements in special teams.
