Jalen Hurts at the podium Monday night:

Hurts: “I’ve been talking about execution all year. Being on the same page, everyone being on the same page. We didn’t execute. I don’t think we all were committed enough. Just got to turn it around. It is a challenge we have to embrace and continue to see it through.”

Well that’s not good. Hurts doesn’t give the media anything, ever, so when he drops something curious like that, of course it’s going to resonate. Should be a fun week!

Thing is, the Eagles will probably win the division, since the Giants and Cardinals stink like nothing has ever stunk before. Dallas still has to play Miami and Detroit as well. But it will be a hollow win, and nobody will be juiced. They did too much damage to themselves over the past three weeks. Don’t think they can purge the “one and done” thought no matter what happens in these final three games.
