The Bulls inducted former general manager Jerry Krause into their Ring of Honor on Friday night. Bulls fans started booing when he was announced, which made Krause’s widow, who was accepting the honor, visibly upset:

This pissed off the Bulls announcer, Stacey King.

But somehow Philly and NY fans had to wear it:

King:

“Chicago is a sports town. And what we witnessed today when Jerry Krause’s name was called and the people that boo’d Jerry Krause and his widow, who was accepting this honor for him, it was the worst thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I hurt for that lady. Brought her to tears. And whoever boo’d her in this arena should be ashamed of themselves. That’s not Chicago. That’s NY, Philly. Chicago’s not like that. We don’t have a reputation of being that way.”

Philly fans:

No one likes us and I don’t care. Why should I give a fuck what people around the country think of Philly fans? They’ve already made their mind up and it isn’t going to change. Everyone makes sweeping generalizations when it comes to fanbases. LA fans suck. Atlanta and Miami are bad sports towns. Dallas fans are cockroaches. It’s the name of the game. So if one Eagles fan boos the team going into the tunnel at halftime, then we all booed. If one Sixers fan pours popcorn on Russell Westbrook’s head, we all did. One guy eats horse shit, we all eat horse shit. It’s bullshit. But that’s the cross we bear. When we’re winning it’s, “What an amazing home field advantage Philly has!” When we lose it’s, “There’s Philly booing their players again.”

Who gives a shit. Most of the time these people are revealed as hypocrites anyway when they get on their soapbox and preach. I’d rather be known as the city that threw snowballs at Santa than the city that made an old lady cry and put a guy into witness protection because he dropped a foul ball:

At least Bulls fans are consistent. They didn’t like him when he was alive and they still don’t like him when he’s dead:
