The Indiana Pacers are trading Buddy Hield to the 76ers for Marcus Morris, Furkan Korkmaz and three second-round picks, sources tell ESPN.

Furkan Korkmaz finally got his requested trade. He’s going to Indy with Marcus Morris, who was also on an expiring contract.
In return, the Sixers get a career 40% three point shooter who is 31 years old and also a free agent at the end of the year. You know Hield’s game by now. Good shooter, good mover, good spacer. Feels like he’s been linked to the Sixers every other year going back to his sophomore season now. In this case, three guys on expiring deals switch teams, the Sixers throw some second rounders at Indy, and get some back court help. Hield has played in 52 games this year and is averaging 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists. 38.4% from three this season with a .575 effective field goal percentage. The Sixers get a chance to try him out while maintaining offseason flexibility, since they’re not locked in with Hield beyond this season.
It’s a good start. According to Keith, two of the picks are way in the future:
The #Sixers got Buddy Heild from the Pacers in exchange for Marcus Morris, Furkan Korkmaz, Toronto 2nd 2024, Portland 2nd 2029, Clipped 2nd 2029 and $1.5M in cash, according to a league source:
