Reader Pat emailed this to me. It’s a cryptic segment from Craig Carton’s show about the Eagles’ collapse:

“I can tell you that it is a problem that would splinter any group of men. Any group of men. It is a real, significant problem and it cannot be fixed… I’m not gonna tell you any more than that. But I know what the problem was, I know they’re trying to fix it. And I don’t think it can be fixed. So it will be very interesting to see if a high-profile player is no longer with the Eagles going into this season.” 

First things first, it drives me crazy that Carton is always standing while the guests are always sitting. What’s the deal with that? Does FOX Sports not have comfortable chairs? Is he short and the guests are tall? Is he teaching a two-person class?

But anyway, baldy needs to spill the beans here. What does he know? What is the problem “that would splinter any group of men?” Is it infidelity? Securities and wire fraud? Did Jalen Hurts scam A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith by selling them fake Anita Baker tickets?

On one hand, I’m intrigued and need to know more. This is very curious indeed! On the other hand, it’s Carton, and it’s highly likely that he’s talking out of his rear end. It’s quite possible that he knows absolutely nothing. If that’s the case, then why share? Good question. We’re just putting the information out there for your knowledge. We aggregate, you decide.
