LeBron James Torches Hot Take Personalities Who Criticized Joel Embiid for Missing Games

GET ‘EM KING! I’ve been saying it for two decades now LeBron > MJ:
Now he’s out with an injury because of it. Not 1 person has went back on tv or their dumbass podcast and apologized to that MAN!! No accountability 🗑️🗑️🗑️

I covered this some in the Kendrick Perkins post from Thursday. It’s ironic the amount of sports takes that go unchecked. Probably because their are millions a day and it’s impossible. The human brain can only take so many hot takes before the hard drive is fried.
Old Takes Exposed is the only institution I can think of that is dedicated to holding the most outlandish takes accountable and I believe they should get a Medal of Freedom for their service. Now that LeBron is checking guys like Perk and Bill Simmons, who tell millions of fans that Jokic is better than Embiid because he plays in Denver while also discrediting Embiid’s 70 point game in the same breath, it probably gets to a guy:
I wish it didn’t. I wish Embiid wouldn’t get DNPs now because he was trolled, but hearing it every day for five years is impossible to block out.
And the Sixers organization shouldn’t be completely off the hook either. Someone needs to be the adult in the room and let this guy know that he can’t go tonight. I know it’s easier said than done, but look at the other side of the equation now. Embiid injured his meniscus and now who knows what that means for the rest of the season and beyond.
Shout out to the King though for sticking up for Embiid. During a contract year, too.
Who’s signing with the Sixers in the offseason?
