Nationals' Mike Rizzo Hangs Signs at Spring Training - "I Don't Care How Fast You Throw Ball Four"
Hardass high school baseball coach vibes out of Nationals President Mike Rizzo at Spring Training. Next he’ll have the guys run poles for not cleaning up the bats and trash in the dugout:
Mike Rizzo was not joking when he said they would have these signs at spring training.

Nice of the guy whose job it is to sign and draft players that can throw strike one and three remind his players to throw strike one and strike three. I can’t wait until Patrick Corbin lobs a beach ball over the plate on a 3-2 count to Bryce Harper because he’s in a contract year.
God I can’t believe the Nationals have a title more recently than the Phils. Grinds my gears every time I think about it. They sucked forever and the city doesn’t even care about baseball. There are only three members from the World Series team still left on the roster after only four seasons. They’re 217-329 since then. The Oakland Athletics have been more successful in that time frame and they’re moving to Vegas. Give Oakland the Nationals. This ownership group refuses to spend money anyway. It’ll be like nothing ever happened.
P.S. Here’s an exercise: Name five players on the Nationals’ active roster. I just looked at it and didn’t recognize more than one guy in their infield. I’ll give you the first three: Josiah Grey, Patrick Corbin, and CJ Abrams. Can you get two more?
