The Eagles Will Open the NFL Season on a Friday in Brazil
Vão pássaros (Go Birds):
The game will be played on Friday, September 6, 2024, the first time the NFL has played a game on Friday night of their opening weekend in over 50 years!

I have the perfect honorary captain for the game:

I didn’t see this coming. I kind of love it. Yea you lose a home game, but the Birds have nine this year and now the team has extended rest going into Week 2. It’s only a two hour time difference in Brazil so the game will probably start around 6-7pm here. They’ll play at Arena Corinthians which has a ryegrass playing surface so no need to worry about any bullshit there. But this will now mark the fifth year in a row the Eagles haven’t opened Week 1 in the Linc. What gives, Roger?
I can’t wait for a fan from the road team puts a jersey on the Christ Redeemer Statue. How do you say Dallas Sucks in Portuguese?
Does Brazil even have Eagles fans you wonder? Here’s a bunch of people from Brazil cheering on the Eagles during Super Bowl 52:
Who let this dork into the party?
