I’ll tell you what, I picked the right sled to go down. Bob and the family really know how to build a sled that not only looks cool, but flies! I don’t know how fast they were clocking us, but it felt no less than 50 mph. The first three rows crashed into the safety barrier. Bill Weston abandoned ship! I had about six inches of space to park my size 13s on. One wrong move and I was grabbing a face full of ice.

If you haven’t been to a Cardboard Classic I can’t recommend it enough. Beers and darts start flowing at 7:30 in the morning. Everyone is having a great time, there’s not a bad seat in the house, and it’s an easy two-hour drive from Philly. If you want to find out how creative someone from Dellllllllcooooooooo is give them some cardboard, string, tape, and paint then stand back. They’ll design an entire Wawa with so much detail that it’ll make your head spin:

Im gonna post a whole recap of the carboard sledding race tomorrow #wawa #poconos

We had Walley World, an entire Blues Brothers scene, Top Gun fighter jet, the horse that ran on 95 two weeks ago, and a 1,600 pound Barbie Van that had to be pushed up the mountain. The most random things someone could think of were designed into sleds:

Everyone is a professional and expert and nobody got hurt. This is all staged entertainment. (Thanks to @Crossing Broad for filming)
