The Phillies Don't Want to Remember the 2023 Postseason Just as Much as You Don't
The 2024 season ticket holder guide was sent out to Phillies fans on Tuesday. How did it get them pumped up for the season? By showing only highlights from the 2022 World Series run. It’s like 2023 never happened:

The Phillies are trying to use that Men In Black mind eraser thing on you. 2023? What 2023? Craig Kimbrel? What’s a Craig Kimbrel? Hey look at this shiny NLCS ring over here. Remember that Rhys Hoskins and Jean Segura fella? They were cool! Remember that team that rallied the nation? Don’t you want to hear the song you fell in love with? Trea Turner? Yea don’t worry he’s still here. Pay no attention to the Phanatic behind the curtain!
Are they using Dancing On My Own as some kind of mind control device for Phillies fans? Why did they play JT’s game-winning World Series home run call over his inside the park home run in the NLDS highlight?
Don’t get me wrong, I’d rather remember 2022 because 2022 was awesome. We had a World Series run, franchise altering moments, and Dollar Dogs. Now we have no World Series, no franchise moments, and no dogs.
