The Phillies are 1-3 and the bullpen looks like total butt. John Kruk mushed a grand slam on Monday night:

Booooooooooooo!

What happened to Connor Brogdon? There’s no way this is the same guy who pitched well against the Astros and Padres just two years ago in the World Series and NLCS. It’s going to be a rough DFA for a guy who was quality not that long ago. He told reporters after the game that he’s been struggling mechanically and while he feels like he’s “right there,” the results aren’t coming. And apparently Gregory Soto was unavailable because he threw back-to-back days, despite tossing a grand total of one pitch on Sunday. Not off to a great start, are we?

Unfortunately, the rules stipulate that Kruk now has to call the next game from the bathroom.

Leave him in there!
