NL East news:

Can’t do the snarky division rival thing when someone is injured. Strider is a gamer. Best pitcher on the best team in the NL East. He only made two starts this year after pitching 32 regular season games last season, earning his first All Star nod. He’s only 25, so plenty of career ahead of him. Of course, it helps the Phillies’ chances immensely, because with Strider out the Braves are left with Max Fried, Charlie Morton, Chris Sale, and Reynaldo Lopez. Fried is off to a rough start and you know they’re gonna be be looking to add arms as that lineup inevitably mashes its way to a ton of wins, pitching be damned.
