Cooper DeJean Beginning Eagles Career at Corner and Nickel

Cooper DeJean was on Kay Adams’ show:

Need a new blurb writer, because the first response to the tweet (now deleted) asks how he knows he’s the starting corner. He’s not the starting corner. He is beginning camp at corner and nickel, as opposed to safety.
Here’s the relevant portion of the quote:
“I really talked all three positions with them (the Eagles), how I worked mostly the nickel and corner position at rookie minicamp. But there’s been talks about safety during the pre-draft (process), and returning as well… wherever they put me, I’ll be excited. I’m excited for the opportunity to start at the corner position… that’s where I’m starting out, the nickel and corner position, yeah”
Cooper DeJean is going to commence his Eagles career at nickel and outside corner. Maybe safety comes later, be it in the box or playing free ala Rodney McLeod.
Technically the blurb does work, but you have to account for the fact that Twitter scrollers are not going to listen to the entire clip, or any of it. So just swap out that word before someone calls WIP and says “Cooper DeJean is the starting cornerback, he said it earlier today.”
