The Internet detectives have found what looks like former Roman Catholic basketball superstar and current Piston Jalen Duren and Angel Reese vacationing together during the WNBA break:

I spot a similar looking cabana. Some rocky terrain. A sun. Checks enough boxes for me to run with.

Kinkead: There’s a still photo from her IG that looks like it matches:

If you’re Roman Catholic right now you gotta be licking your chops and saying four Hail Marys that these two stay together. Jalen Duren and Angel Reese are going to make one, maybe multiple, superstar players that are going to lead Roman Catholic to basketball supremacy. It’s going to be a double-double machine. Ted Silary (RIP) would have to rewrite the record books.

Now, if Carl Arrigale wants to win at all costs like I know he does, he’ll figure out a way to break these two up or he might never win a PCL title ever again. Roman is already a juggernaut. They’ve won four of the last seven basketball titles. Neumann hasn’t sniffed one in TWO years. Two years at 10th and Mifflin is a lifetime! They used to churn those things out last decade like Pat’s and Geno’s does steaks.

But right now Broad and Vine is eating their lunch and then rubbing their face in it:

Hey Angel:

Sidenote: We need someone to carry on Ted Silary’s legacy. That website was the greatest collection of high school sports information this country has ever seen. I appreciate the Archdiocese of Philadelphia trying to pick up the slack, but it can’t hold a candle to Ted’s site. If I ever make a bunch of money I want to earmark some to pay a couple guys to revamp the site. I probably checked that site a million times a season to see my stats update and read Ted or Puck write ups. Those guys were and are the keepers of high school sports and the website was like the Library of Alexandria. Don’t let it ever burn up.
