Mama Mia! The Flying Guidos made a grand spectacle of Mikey Miss’ return to the airwaves:

Some will say this is just a coincidence, but not me. Beasley pulled out all the stops for the paisan’s triumphant return to the radio. I hear whispers people are starting to call Mike the Monster of the Middays. He’s already laying the smacketh down on those jabronies over at WIP five minutes into his first show back.

“There won’t be any unwelcome kisses.”

No word yet if there will be any unwelcome fists to a producer’s face, but we’ll be the first to bring it to you if it happens. I know Bill Colarulo can take him and I know Ray Dunne is squirrely from his days at Temple. Four years of keeping your head on a swivel will do that to you.

Love him or hate him, sports radio in Philadelphia is a better place when Mikey Miss is on the air. I’d rather hear this than The Fanatic pretending like WIP doesn’t exist while continuing to get murdered in the ratings. I might even start tuning in again. The last time I listened to sports radio daily was when Mike and Josh Innes were fighting for drive-time supremacy. I can’t wait for Howard’s response in five hours with a minimum of three misspelled words.

Shout out to the Frecce Tricolori! That was awesome this morning. The only thing that could’ve made this day any better for Miss is if they announced a new Godfather movie during the flyover.

When the fellas hear General Knowledge Wednesdays are back:
