We Recorded a Podcast From the Most Slept On Cheesesteak Joint in Philadelphia
What’s up everybody? We’ve got anew episode on this week’s Men At Work (subscribe, like, share) coming to you live from one of the best cheesesteak joints in the city. A diamond in the rough if you ask me nestled against the mighty Delaware River. You might not have noticed this spot while you were speeding down Columbus Blvd. on your way to Show & Tel. We recorded at Shank’s during the Friday lunch rush. I’ve passed by it a hundred times and have never stopped over. For my first time I went with the Philly Special. Cheesesteak, whiz, and scrapple because I have never had scrapple before. During the episode we hear an insane story from a former mailman who witnessed a murder on his first route and was told to get back to delivering the mail. Fuck USPS. All my homies hate the mail:
We also talk to a guy that tells us about working in sales for Sherwin Williams, the unlikely painting gig that makes the most money, and why the paint business will never die. A new Med Spa owner surprises us with all the different wellness services she provides and spills the beans on the new trend in wellness everyone is starting. Finally, the owner of Shank’s, Ed Brennan, tells us how hard it is running a business, his inspiring story, and the best cheesesteaks in Philly.
You can listen on Apple and Spotify here too:
Go hit up Shank’s at 901 S Christopher Columbus Blvd, Philadelphia, PA on your lunch break!
