Call Me Crazy But I Don't Want Haason Reddick Back Even if He Wants to Be an Eagle Again
According to Jets reporter Rich Cimini on his podcast said Haason Reddick wouldn’t mind going back to Philadelphia:
Am I a crazy person for saying no to this? I’m a Temple guy. We stick together. Temple Owls are everywhere. But I’m not touching Haason Reddick with a 30 foot pole. It’s nothing personal it’s just business. He still wants to be paid, right? The Jets aren’t just going to give him up for nothing, right? I don’t know how much he was involved in the locker room issues last year, but I’m sure he couldn’t have been too happy after acknowledging he wanted a new deal during training camp. We even saw him fighting on the sideline with Nick Sirianni mid-game. We’ve all been here before. When has going back to your ex ever worked out? Sure it’s good for a couple weeks and then they’re fighting at the bar again and bringing down the vibes of everyone’s night. Gotta rip that band-aid clean off and let everyone go their separate ways. Plus we’re winning – kind of. Sure you’re new girlfriend doesn’t have a job and is spending all your money, but at least there is still time to maybe fix things. Her new boyfriend is a cheapskate and doesn’t even want her around his friends or family.
Call me crazy, but I believe in this front seven and think the pressure on the edge will get better and hopefully the middle of the line continues their dominance. I’m even starting to believe in the corners and the safeties too. We’re a Saquon drop from being 3-0. Sure I’ve got the Kelliest of Kelly Green covered glasses on, but I can only go off of what the data tells me and the data tells me this defense might not suck as much as we think:
