Darius Slay doesn’t sound excited to be playing in Brazil. He hopped on his podcast and gave his thoughts on the NFL having them play there on Friday:

Albert Breer at Sports Illustrated confirmed A.J. Brown’s comments last week that NFL Security wants the players to stay in their hotel.

They don’t even want guys to go outside with phones out of their pockets:

NFL Security met with both teams, and the Eagles and Green Bay Packers players are being advised strongly—if not flat-out told—to do what Brown said he’d do, and stay at their hotels, outside of the trips they’ll make to Arena Corinthians, where the game is Friday. The teams also had a list of do’s and don’ts spelled out for them when they are outside the hotels. One was to not walk outside with their phones out of their pockets. Another was to not respond to any weird messages on their phones.

Good news if you’re an Eagles fan. The team isn’t staying in the city, instead opting to stay near the airport where they won’t have as many issues. The Packers plan on staying in the city. FWIW all the footage I’ve seen from Phans of Philly and other Eagles fans that are already in Brazil shows everyone having a good time. POP is in Rio first, then going to Sao Paulo. Eagles fans are even helping infuse the economy:
