Doug Pederson is Looking Cooked in Duval
Doug P is 0-4 and getting frustrated with the Jacksonville media:
The last thing a coach should ever do is start blaming the players. Doug Pederson’s comment, “As coaches, we can’t go out there and make the plays, right? It’s a two-way street,” won’t sit well in the locker room, nor should it.
It’s one of the worst things he could’ve said.… pic.twitter.com/mXGtIMrDVs

Press Taylor is calling the plays in Jacksonville. Same Press Taylor who was QB coach in Philadelphia and promoted several times. He followed Doug to DUUUUUVAL a few seasons ago. You hear in the clip that Pederson thinks Taylor called a great game and then he goes on to basically throw the players under the bus, gets snarky with the scribes, and shakes his head before walking off. He’s had plenty of practice with this from his time in Philadelphia.
Doug appears to be cooked. The Jags are coming off two-straight 9-8 seasons, but last year lost 5 of 6 to end the year and the only win was against Bryce Young’s Carolina Panthers. They’ve lost 9 of their last 10 games and Trevor Lawrence has regressed, which is probably most concerning since Doug is supposed to be good with quarterback development and the offensive side of the ball.
Doug Pederson seems very confused and believes it’s very strange that he’s being asked about his job status after the Jaguars fall to 1-9 in their last 10 games pic.twitter.com/8Q8AcvsrgE
