Garrett Stubbs Says Dancing On My Own Won't Return as the Phillies Song in Postseason
Garrett Stubbs has spoken. Don’t let video of the guy having some fun with fans at McGillin’s confuse you. Dancing On My Own isn’t coming back after postseason wins. Not by itself anyway:

So now we need to know who these local DJs with the opportunity of a lifetime. Who are these guys that will have the city by the balls every time the Phils win a game? How are these guys going to follow one of the most popular songs in Philadelphia of all time? It’ll be played in the background behind every viral video an MLB reporter tweets out after the Phils clinch. It’ll be spoken about during national broadcasts. It’ll be played throughout the stadium after wins. The last song launched Calum Scott on a world tour. This is an insane opportunity for a bunch of local DJs. There’s no one like Philly fans who can take something and lift it up to the national stage. These guys’ lives could change overnight.
So who are they?
Crossing Broad has learned the guys working on the season long mash-up mix are the Armentani Brothers:
Three brothers who are Phillies diehards that have been performing around the country in the EDM Scene for years. Apparently Stubbs and the guys like their stuff and they’ve worked on a mix all season fine tuning and adding different songs to the mix throughout with some personal touches. We’ve gotten little snippets like when Rob Thomson gives a postgame interview in his office with thin walls:

Very loud club music currently playing in the Phillies clubhouse.

The Phillies are blasting “Die For You” by The Weeknd in the clubhouse right now.

So when is that song coming out? I’m told they have it under lock and key until the Phillies clinch. No jinxes. No bad juju. Nothing like that. They’re not counting their chickens before they hatch. When it releases (some time in October) it will be because the Phillies are spraying champagne all over each other.
If it’s anything like this I’m excited:
The one gripe Phillies fans have always had with DOMO is that it was a cuck song. Hard to argue that one. This song has BALLS.
