Is John Middleton's Son Gonna Take Care of These Squatters, or What?
I forgot to post this on Friday afternoon:
🇺🇸 SQUATTERS TAKE OVER $6.53 MILLION HOLLYWOOD MANSION
Squatters have occupied an abandoned mansion in Los Angeles, owned by John Powers Middleton, son of Phillies owner John S. Middleton.
Neighbors describe the property as an eyesore and a safety concern, with squatters… pic.twitter.com/Vb01mKBXE0

When you’re John Powers Middleton and someone tells you about this, what’s your reaction? “Oh yeah, I forgot about that mansion.” For real. Is this something that filthy-rich people do? Just leave their abandoned mansions laying around?
According to public records, that owner is John Powers Middleton – the same person who owns another Hollywood Hills mansion that was also taken over by squatters. Eyewitness News reported on the run-down conditions at that property a year ago. Eyewitness News checked on that property Friday and found it vacant, with the pools drained and boarded up.
Middleton’s father owns the Philadelphia Phillies.
…
Eyewitness News also learned a lien has been issued on the home and that the owner has defaulted on property taxes for several years.
Wait – he has two LA mansions and both were taken over by squatters? Where is the guy currently living? What’s he doing? You gotta get your house in order. Or houses. Let’s cut JPM a deal. We’ll gather a dozen Phillies fans and go out there and take care of the squatters. Tune ’em up real good. Then we’ll fix up the graffiti and sell the house and split the proceeds. $3 million to you, $3 million to us, and a $1 million commission to whatever Hollywood douchebag realtor we have to hire. It’s Million Dollar Listing: Squatter Edition.
