Artist Winston Tseng released a statement on his Instagram confirming what HughE Dillon reported weeks ago. The Kamala Harris/Eagles endorsement ads that sprang up all around Philadelphia are indeed his work, but he didn’t put the posters in the bus shelters:

The Official Artist of the Philadelphia Eagles is a great touch.

How bad is society right now that people can actually be duped by these ads? Are there really people out there who just walk around and believe everything they see on social media and every headline they read? Cause if that’s the case, the next couple of generations are fucked. The Eagles, to my knowledge, since I’ve been alive, have never endorsed a political candidate. Sure, the owner might throw some money around to different causes or campaigns, but the team would never be stupid enough to endorse a specific candidate when they run the risk of abandoning half the organization and half the fanbase. Don’t tell that to all of the conspiracy theorists who still believe these ads were real and the Eagles only denounced them when the blowback peaked. Don’t take into consideration that the website it took you to was a voter registration website that was months old still showing deadlines to vote in the primaries.

Thank god we have the Human Community Note Joe from South Philly to let people know this was a fake:

How about SEPTA making it easy as shit to break into their bus terminals? All you need is an Allen wrench and the flick of the wrist and you too can drop any political ad you want in at 15th and Market Street. Only in America!

Here’s some of Tseng’s other work around Philly and New York:
