Cutter Gauthier Benched Twice in Third NHL Game
Cutter Gauthier update:
It appears that Cutter Gauthier has been demoted to the fourth line and taken off the power play for the time being. Did not take a shift in the final 8:38 of the second period.

What’s most surprising is that an Anaheim Ducks reporter exists. That’s gotta be the easiest beat in the world. You probably get a 1v1 with the coach every night. And no ill-will towards Cutter Gauthier, who quit on the Flyers, just providing an update here. He’s got 0 points in three games and has managed five shots on goal. He’s getting the early Torts treatment here. Matvei Michkov will be pulled at some point for making a mistake, like just skating off randomly and allowing Edmonton to score the overtime winner. But at least Michkov scored two goals earlier in the game. Gauthier is putting up a donut so far, but it’s early.
