I Left it All Out on the Dirt at the Highland Games
What happens at a Celtic Festival? That’s the question for this week’s episode of Men At Work (like, subscribe, share). Did I know what a Celtic Festival was a week ago? No. Would I go back? Absolutely. There are tons of things to do! Did you know there’s medieval MMA? People literally dress in 100 pounds of chain mail and beat the shit out of each other with shields and swords and any other medieval object they can find. It’s insane. Then you have a bunch of people in kilts lifting telephone poles and throwing weights over a nine foot bar. It’s apparently some ancient Scottish Highland Games. They let us join in. Before you watch this keep in mind this was AFTER 2.5 hours of the most grueling podcasting a person can do:

We’re Highland Boys! Just trying to make it! Cause we are Highland Boys! Sure the goal was to get the 56 pound caber over the bar, but my real goal was not have that thing fall back to Earth and directly on my head. You can’t argue I didn’t leave it all out on the dirt:
Great group of guests on this week’s show. We got a kilt salesman, a music group called The Rowdy Barlings who give us some tour stories, a displaced student from Florida because of Hurricane Milton, and those aforementioned MMA combat warriors. I’m all for kilts making a rotation into my daily life. The breathability in those things have to be second to none:
