Micah Parsons was on his podcast with a word salad about how he didn’t intend to run over Mike McCarthy with a bus when he was asked about his job security after the game. Here’s the clip with the original comments, and the follow up:

Was a question about Mike McCarthy’s job status the perfect time to highlight Zack Martin? Probably not. Especially when you have a weekly podcast you can do it on. But when you’re asked about your lame duck coach after getting pantsed by a division rival and you basically say you don’t care about him because he can find a job anywhere, of course reporters are going to run with it. I’d understand if Parsons was a rookie, but he’s about to get PAID in the offseason. He’s been in the league long enough to know how the media works. And if he doesn’t, then he’s an idiot. Blaming the media for twisting your words is a cop out for a guy in his first couple of years not a superstar who’s supposed to be one of the best edge rushers in the game.

And I know we all joke about Micah Parsons wanting to be an Eagle (because it’s true), but I don’t want him anywhere near the Eagles:

I can’t stand this guy and there is absolutely no shot he’d work here in Philadelphia. He finds himself in hot water every other week with his podcast. He’s laughing on the field with the other team after losing by four scores while being in hell all game:

What do you think Eagles fans and sports radio hosts are going to latch onto when he’s here? One bad loss and people are going to lose their mind because he says something stupid on his podcast. And I don’t even think what he “said” about Mike McCarthy was wrong because I don’t think he was talking about McCarthy at all, more about the time and effort guys like Zack Martin have given to the Cowboys organization. He just said it in a really stupid, dumb jock way. Which is exactly a testament to who Parsons is. For a guy technically in the media he’s not the greatest when he’s in front of cameras. He could’ve just cut the answer after “It’s above my pay grade.” Instead he went in a totally different direction and made it sound like he’s ready for his coach to pack his bags. It’s either he’s trying to appease Jerry Jones or he just loves to hear himself talk. We lost our minds in this city because A.J. Brown refused to talk to the media last year. Imagine what this guy would be like if he had a mic in front of his face even on his off days.
