This Picture of Mike McCarthy Being Shaded From the Sun is Amazing
These pictures of Mike McCarthy being shaded from the sun are so fucking funny. What a concept! Protect your coach’s eyes so he can do his job easier while he’s up there breathing heavy and answering questions about his job future. Don’t protect the eyes of your million dollar players from the sun when they’re trying to catch touchdowns and win you football games:
The sun is causing a glare in the Cowboys press conference room.
So there’s a shield to block the sun from Mike McCarthy’s face.
Novel concept. pic.twitter.com/BKxp0Wn0I3

The jokes write themselves.
God I love Jerry Jones! I want that senile old man to live forever! Put him right next to Walt Disney and Lou Gehrig in the cryo-chamber, unfreeze his ass, and put him in one of those Futurama head cases every gameday so we can still see him scowling from his suite. Do you know how much of a stubborn asshole you have to be to not want to draw the curtains even though your players are begging for it?
CeeDee Lamb says he couldn’t see the ball, on Cooper Rush’s throw into the endzone.
Q: Are you in favor of curtains?
“Yes. 100%”
Q: Will you tell Jerry that?
“I mean, y’all are doing my job for me right now.”

I mean look at this:
This picture perfectly sums up the Cowboys:
The generational talent cannot score because their dipshit owner forgot where the sun would be when he built his billion dollar stadium 🙃 pic.twitter.com/aW4jijLEf4

Jerry Jones claims it’s home field advantage:
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan on not having curtains at AT&T Stadium to block the sun during games: “Of all the things that we need to improve, that is way down the list of improvement. That stadium was built to feel like you’re outdoors.
“It’s the largest air…

“It’s the largest air conditioned space in the world. My biggest thought when we were building it was … make it look like it was outdoors. “Every venue has certain things that at certain ways and times can create an advantage. That really goes under the category of home field advantage It should be an advantage to the home team. … It has been advantage for us to know where the sun is. I don’t want to change that.”
“Home field advantage”:
The Cowboys have played 58 games in the “sun” timeslot of 3p-7p at AT&T Stadium. Of those, 38 were against teams that finished .500 or better.
Dallas is 12-26 in those games at AT&T Stadium. So, once again, the sun is not an advantage against good teams.

Also as a guy who was literally just at the stadium I can tell you it doesn’t feel like you’re outdoors in any way. The thing looks and feels like a giant CARMAX. When I was there the roof was closed. It looks, feels, and sounds like every dome I’ve ever been in. Minus the windows that are burning the eye sockets out of the person sitting on the one side of the stadium. Look at these people. They leave with sun poisoning after every game:
Kinda funny people just choose to get sunburn in a dome every week pic.twitter.com/ilBzHP6jam

God I love the Cowboys! Such an inept organization from top to bottom. The fans deserve it. I couldn’t believe how many I talked to that still love Jerry Jones. They blame Dak and the players more than they blame the owner/GM who didn’t spend this offseason:
@crossingbroad What do Cowboys fans think of Jerry Jones? #flyeaglesfly #gobirds #dallascowboys #eagles #nfl #jerryjones #eaglesfan #cowboysfan
Mike McCarthy can’t wait to get out of there:
