Phillies Will Have Super Bowl Watch Party in Clearwater
Spring Training is just 12 days away, but some of the Phillies aren’t just thinking about baseball right now. The Eagles take on the Chiefs next Sunday, February 9th in Super Bowl LIX, and Rob Thomson said on The Phillies Show that the guys will all be together to watch the big game. He’s pulling for the Birds:
“We’re gonna all get together and watch it at one of the places in Clearwater and it’s gonna be a good time.”
The first official Phillies workout isn’t until February 12th, but a good portion of the guys usually get to Clearwater a few days early, with some already down there. The first full-squad workout is February 17th:
If you hadn’t heard, #Phillies pitchers and catchers will hold their first workout in Clearwater, Fla., on Feb. 12.
The team’s first full-squad workout is Feb. 17.
Grapefruit League opener is Feb. 22 vs. DET in Lakeland. Home opener is Feb. 23 vs. BAL at BayCare Ballpark.

Unless you’re a baseball sicko like myself, you’re not thinking about the Phillies right now…and that’s fine, we’ve got a Super Bowl to win first. But baseball season is right around the corner, and the guys are ready to watch their Birds take down Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs next Sunday.
Could we get a livestream of this? Barstool style? That would be hilarious content. I’d love to see their reaction to the Eagles winning the Super Bowl. Garrett Stubbs might party just as hard as he does in the clubhouse after a playoff win.
