Checked IG, Facebook, etc – nothing there either. Surely this is not some pettiness coming from the top, right? Do we really think Josh Harris and/or David Blitzer handed down orders to some terrified 22-year-old social media person, telling them to ignore the Eagles and pretend they don’t exist? What gives? Just post something quick and get on with it, because Philly sports fans hate bad optics and this amounts to bad optics. Rabid Birds fans are gonna hound the poor soul running social media until they get their congratulatory post. Their symbolic gesture. Admin is going to have to take a Ben Simmons mental health day if this keeps up.
