James McAvoy Stands Up for the Word “Jawn”

Scottish actor James McAvoy knows Philly. He spent plenty of time here during the filming of M Night Shyamalan’s Glass and Split, the latter of which I personally thought featured an award-worthy individual performance.
He recently worked with Jessica Chastain on It: Chapter Two, and as part of the media tour to promote the film the pair did a video for LADBible in which they exchange Scottish and American slang terms in a “what does this actually mean” format.
About halfway through, McAvoy asked Chastain about the term “jawn” and whether she knew what it meant:
So there you have it. Jawn is a thing. Needed a Scottish guy to reaffirm.
